How is it possible?

To feel so alone in your own home?  Big Man left at 2:45am to go to his truck to leave to work in Tulsa for the week.  He’ll be home sometime on Friday.  In the meantime, I’m trying to get things ready for Baby Girl’s first birthday party on Sunday.

Neighbor from across the street and her 3 year old son came over for dinner.  After they left, I gave Little Man a bath and got him ready for bed.  He fell asleep in our bed.  Baby girl went down a little after 8.  I cleaned up the dinner dishes and watched a movie on Lifetime.

And have just felt so alone all evening.  Of course, even in Big Man were here, he’d have been in bed even before the kids.  Sometimes I might as well be single.

29 days

In 29 days, Baby Girl, will be one year old.  It just doesn’t seem possible.  I’m currently planning her b’day party, which will take place on the 29th of this month, since her b’day falls during the week, and right before a long holiday weekend.   I’ve invited everyone I had on my list.  Some have said they’d be there, some maybe’s, so far only one no, and some haven’t responded yet.  In the meantime, I’m working on doing a deep cleaning of this house.

We got an above ground pool over the weekend, got it set up on Sunday.  I haven’t even been in it yet. 

Big Man is working in Tulsa this week, he left early yesterday morning, and will be back sometime Friday evening.

Little Man is currently working on getting potty trained.  He went three times this afternoon without me prompting him, so I’m hoping he’s getting the hang of it.

It’s hot and dry here, 96 today.  They act like it’s going to change, yeh, get worse.  And rain will only make it humid.

I’ve decided to take a hiatus from my business for a while.  Things just weren’t going too well.

Ok, I’m back…

Alot has been going on since I tried going over to blogspot. Big Man lost his job, finally found one, then goes for a physical last week and found out he had diabetes. So, they put him on two medications, no insulin, gave him a blood glucose meter and he was able to get it down, in two days, that he passed the second test and got the job. He started Monday.

Little Man is learning new words every day. Baby Girl is crawling..and now starting to pull herself up. When she starts walking, I’m in trouble.

I’ve decided to stop trying to get my business going, for awhile at least. Keep getting inquiries, visitors to my site, but no orders. Maybe if I leave it alone, someone will come across the site and place an order…who knows.

Time to start planning Baby Girl’s first birthday. Will be here too soon!
